The Peak Brewery is a boutique
brewery situated on an organic lifestyle
block near Carterton in the Wairarapa. We make a selection of
traditional British and European styles, using certified organic malts
and hops.
Great news: The
beergarden is open!
From the 11th of December 2011, we are operating our "Summer Sessions",
showcasing local food and musicians, as well as the beer.
Upcoming dates:
5th, 6th, 12th, 19th, 26th of February 2012.
Sessions start from about 1 PM and run through the afternoon. Feel free
to bring the kids and a picnic (but don't bring your own booze; that's
the whole point of running this thing at a brewery!).
Current beer on tap: Drachenfels Lager, at 5%, a typical Northern German-style
lager; more specifically a Koelsch, a style originating in Cologne (Koeln).
